Brief History Tendulkar scored his much awaited 100th international hundred on 16 March 2012, at Mirpur against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup. He became the first person in history to achieve this feat. Incidentally, it was Tendulkar's first ODI hundred against Bangladesh. Despite Tendulkar's century, India failed to win the match against Bangladesh, losing by 5 wickets. Anyway, this is a record which will be extremely difficult to break in the foreseeable future. With this feat, Sachin has no doubt become synonym of Cricket sport.

March 31, 2001 He became the first cricketer to score 10,000 runs in one day international cricket, while playing against Australia at Indore. He completed this target in his 266th match.
